BRENDA VOLLRATH (nee TURNER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Brenda, with her children by her side she peacefully passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from a lengthy battle with breast cancer. Left to cherish Brenda's memory are her children; son Douglas (Teresa), son David (Tara), and daughter Tamara; mother Christine Turner; siblings Gwen (Roy), Floyd (Mary), Carolyn (Bob), Evelyn, Glen (Lorna), Danny (Brenda), Cathy (Hamid), Kenneth, Valerie (Leonard), Bill, and Linda; Grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Kristina, Samantha, and Alexis. Brenda was predeceased by her father Floyd. Brenda was bon December 27, 1940 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent her life between Shilo, Calgary, and Winnipeg. Brenda was a very devoted mother and grandmother, who enjoyed puttering in her garden. The family would like to thank mom's oncologist Dr. Krahn, and all the helpful staff at CancerCare Manitoba for their compassion and support. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, Cemetery Crematorium, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
