BETTY SAWCHUK It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty Sawchuk on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Tuxedo Villa Personal Care Home at the age of 92 years. She will be greatly missed by her children, Rose Marie Burt, Sylvia Sawchuk, Patricia Giricz (George), Christine Didur (Tim); daughter-in-law Audrey Sawchuk; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alex and her son Emil. Our mother will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her mild disposition, her positive attitude, her kindness and compassion toward others, always putting others before herself. Betty was known for her tenacious faith in our Creator Jehovah God and took great pleasure in sharing her hope for the future with others. On Thursday, July 8 Betty's Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1060 Wolever Avenue, with Mr. Orest Allison officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa Personal Care Home for their excellent care and compassion.
