SHIRLEY KATHERINE JADICK It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Shirley Jadick of Winnipeg on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 71 years. Remaining to forever cherish Shirley's memory are her husband Edward Jadick Sr. of 55 years of marriage; children Edna (Don) Owen, Mike Jadick, Danielle Jadick, Marina (Grant) Colli, Jason (Anetta) Jadick, Edward Jr. (Kelly) Jadick; Sisters Edna, Loretta, Judy, June; grandchildren Cameron, Sam, Damara, Dustin, Faith, Damian, Kassidy. She was predeceased only by her parents, Basil (Bill) and Mary Kowal. Shirley started as a nurse and finished her career as a wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved to knit and crochet blankets and doll clothes that would be given away to various functions. In compliance with Shirley's wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. A small get together for immediate family and close friends will be held on Sunday, July 4 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the recreational room at her apartment. The family wishes to thank all the family and friends whose thoughts go with her. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
