MARY MILLER (nee MAGAS) September 11, 1914 - June 26, 2010 Peacefully at the Concordia Hospital with family by her side Mary passed away at the age of 95. Mary was born, raised and lived all her life in Transcona. She met her true love Bill and together they raised three sons. Their home was always the gathering place for family and friends. With Mary's great Ukrainian cooking and wonderful knitting afghans, no one went hungry or cold. When Bill passed away November 23, 2007 her heart was broken, but now they will have their last waltz together. Mary was predeceased by her brothers John, Mike, Fred, Tony, Harry, and sister Annie. She is survived by her brother Nick and three sons Bill, Bob (Janice), and Fred; grandchildren Chris (Sandy), Jason (Jessica), Mandi (Mark) and James (Lizzette); great- grandchildren Nicholas, Indy, Roxanne, Lola and Clementine. Special thanks to all the staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home for their many years of care and compassion. Honouring Mary's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family interment held at a later date at the Transcona Cemetery. Legacy of Love A wife, a mother, a grandma too, This is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, You gave us strength, you gave us might, A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, Not just as a wife not just as a mother. For all of us you gave your best, Now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep, Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to the Park Manor Building Fund. Funeral Arrangements in care of: WHEELER FUNERAL CHAPEL 211 REGENT AVENUE WEST (AT BOND ST.) 224-1525
