MELINDA MARY BRUYERE (Mama Jap) March 29, 1966 - July 2, 2010 Melinda passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 2, 2010 She leaves behind her partner Dion Lane, her children Bobbie-Lee (Louie), Marie (William), Farrel and Julian, her grandson Darius, mother Virginia, siblings Brian (Sharon), Marilyn (Sheldon), Gary (Casey), Lorna (Ron), Maurice (Giselle), and special cousin Kim Yachel, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles as well as many cousins and friends. Melinda was predeceased by her father Louis Bruyere, Grandparents Louis and Annie Bruyere, Fred and Esther Henderson, and her brother Michael Bruyere. Melinda touched many lives, and all that have known her loved her for her sense of humour. She has brought many laughs and good times to all that have known her. Wake services will begin on Monday, July 5 at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church in Sagkeeng First Nation. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m. also at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church in Sagkeeng.
