Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE-ANNE BOUTILIER Peacefully on July 1, 2010 with her Great-nephew Doug at her side, Marie-Anne Honorin (Allard) Boutilier passed away in the Arborg Personal Care Home. Marie was born on July 25, 1914 in Eriksdale (Vannes) MB. Marie was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1974, parents Emilie (nee Gagne) on May 17, 1955 and Eugene Allard on September 14, 1957, a brother in childhood and her sister Jeanne Allard. She will be missed by Doug and Sharon Shore and family of Arborg and remembered by her nieces Audrey (Boutilier) Shore and her husband James, and Claire (Boutilier) and the late Edward Wilson, and their families. Aunt Marie was born, grew up, and married her husband Walter in the Eriksdale area, but moved to Arborg when Walter moved into the Personal Care Home. She told stories of living in her blue shanty and then moving in to the Sunrise Lodge when it was built and living there for 26 years before moving to the Arborg Personal Care Home, where she lived out her life. She recalled fondly her strong friendship with the Smith family and appreciated frequent visits from Clara. The family also would like to thank Clara Smith for her friendship to Aunt Marie. Marie was a devout Catholic and was an active member of the Arborg St. Philips Neri Church, working on different committees in the church and helping wherever she could. She so appreciated the spiritual care she received when she was no longer able to go mass at the church. Funeral service will be held at the St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church in Arborg on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Parish Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the St. Philip Roman Catholic Cemetery or to the Arborg Personal Care Home. Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear one. Although I didn't know Marie-Anne I realize we are distant cousins. My father was Jules Elie Allard and my grandmother's name was Honorine. I knew Jeanne and met her at a number of family gatherings. My thoughts are with you. Freda Champagne - Posted by: Freda Allard Champagne (Family) on: Jul 07, 2010
