DENIS MCCARTHY Peacefully on July 5, 2010 surrounded by his loved ones, Denis passed away at the age of 86. Denis was born on October 9, 1923 in Ottawa. He was predeceased by his loving wife (Laura) in 1991 and son (Michael) in 1997. He leaves to mourn his sons Murray, Paul (Vivian), and Patrick. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Leah (Remy), Meagan, Melissa (Thor), Mallory, Tyra, Kristoffer (Stephanie), Chelsea, Sara, and Alyssa. Also great-grand-children Emma and Hekla. Denis had a fulfilling career at Air Canada. He had a passion for fixing things. Denis loved being involved in his boy's lives including hockey and fishing. His sense of humour and jokes never stopped. He will be missed. A funeral mass will be held on Friday July 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street, Winnipeg MB, with interment to follow at Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery and a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Family would like to thank the staff on the 5th floor of Grace Hospital for their incredible care. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
