IRENA BOHDANA STEPHANIA ZAJAC Irena Bohdana Stephania Zajac passed away after a long illness on 8 July 2010, at St. Boniface Hospital. Born in Peremyszl, Ukraine, in 1923, she is survived by her two sons Borys Gengalo and Michael Zajac (Grace Nickel). She was predeceased by parents Stephen Tatuch and Neonila Dzerovitch, sister Josaphina Tatuch, and spouses Myron Gengalo and Dr. Roman Zajac Prayers will be sung at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, 13 July, at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Wednesday, 14 July, at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre (Winnipeg) or the Winnipeg Humane Society Special thanks to Dr. Glen Drobot and the nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. Patricia Harris and the nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital Oncology and Haematology, and Dr. Neil Simonsen and the whole staff at the Misericordia Hospital Foot Care Clinic.
