EDITH MARGARETE STUHLDREIER (nee GRASS) It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Edith Stuhldreier, aged 74 years, on Saturday, July 10, 2010. She will be greatly missed by her sons, John (Jackie), Ralph (Linda), Michael (Lucia), Andrew (Linda); grandchildren, John, Jim (Kelly), Cassie (Corey), Anthony, Amanda and Krista; great-grandson Keenan; great-granddaughters, Emily and Natalie; and sister Helga (Harry). She was predeceased by her infant sons, Bernhard and Anthony; her husband Joe; and sister Inge. Mom loved her family and together with Dad they made sure their children always came first. She was a friend to everyone and by word and example taught her family the importance of family and strong, lasting friendships. Her sons would like to extend their love and heartfelt thanks to her close friends and their adopted aunt and uncle, Lilly and Ewald Braunberger for the love, help and support they gave her after the passing of their father. In addition, the family would like to thank Dr. Taras Babick and the staff and Sisters of Holy Family Home where she has lived for the last year. Your commitment to caring for her and all the people entrusted to your care is exemplary. A memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Holy Family Home, 165 Aberdeen Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 1T9.
