ISABELLA R. TRACY (nee FOTHERINGHAM) August 26, 1913 - July 9, 2010 It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, Bella, at the age of 96 years. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Lynne Swain and Sharon Garbutt; grandsons Graham Swain, Scott Garbutt (Suzanne) Tracy Garbutt (Cathy) and five great-grandsons Taylor, Shawn, Joel, Noah and Theo. Bella will also be missed by John Swain, Christine and Anita, extended family, friends and all those who lovingly cared for her the past months. It was an honour and privilege to know Bella and her passing has left a very empty place in our hearts. Bella was a devoted wife to Frank Tracy who predeceased her in 1997. She is survived by a sister Nancy McKrae, sister in laws Doreen Carrie and Bernice McNabb and brother-in-law Delford Tracy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bella and Frank raised their family in Charleswood where Bella resided until last fall. They made wonderful memories on Miramar. Family meant the world to Bella and Frank; always eager to lend a hand, share a joke, sing a song or cheer on the Blue Bombers. Bella was and continues to be an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a character to say the least! Her sense of humour, her witty and caring personality touched people's lives. We are grateful to the caretakers, family and friends that have helped, comforted and stood by Bella particularly the last several months. We embrace her in our hearts and will remember her always. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CNIB or the Humane Society. There will be no service; the family will gather in Bella's honour on July 25, 2010 between 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 6560 Betsworth. Interment has taken place at Chapel Lawn.
