THOMAS ANTHONY FURMAN Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2010 in Toronto at the age of 91. He will be fondly remembered by his brother John of Winnipeg and his relatives and friends in Ontario and the Western provinces. Tom was born May 22, 1919 in Sandy Lake, Manitoba. His childhood residences were in Sandy Lake and Strathclair, Manitoba areas. He was an Army Veteran who served during the Second World War. Tom resided in Toronto since the early 1950s. Funeral Services will be held in Elphinstone Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Elphinstone Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in any province.
