ELMER JOSEPH SEYMOUR It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of dearly beloved husband and father, Elmer Seymour on July 12, 2010 at his residence in Seymourville. Elmer is predeceased by his wife Irene of 50 years, infant son Brian, parents Wilfred and Matilda, sister Aurillia and infant brother Gabriel. Elmer leaves to mourn his sons, Robert (Alison), Allan, daughters, Judy, Yvonne (Clarence), Brenda, Charlene (Bryan) Audrey (John), 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Elmer also leaves to mourn his five brothers and seven sisters, nephews, nieces, special goddaughters Kateri, Sophia and Valerie and many, many friends who were so dear to him. Elmer was a commercial fisherman, trapper and a tremendous fiddle and guitar player. Elmer made sure this family tradition was passed onto his grandchildren. Wake services will be held in the Seymourville Hall on Tuesday, July 13 to Thursday, July 15. Viewing will take place at Sacred Heart of Jesus beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16 followed with the Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Seymourville Community Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Justin and Trenton, sons-in-law, Clarence and John and brothers, Wes and Hank. Honourary pallbearers will be sons Robert and Allan and longtime friends, Morris Moneas and Brian LaPorte. To: Dad You will never be forgotten; we loved you to the end. You have always been there for us, through all times. Now the day has come for us to say goodbye, It's going to be so hard no matter how much we try. We know you are in a better place no more suffering or pain. You are now in Heaven with our Dear Mother. We love you Dad always and forever.
