Growing up in Brooklands I have fond memories of Mrs. Siedleski, her son Greg was my brother's best-friend, so we saw a lot of each other. When my brother was getting married, I did not have a dress to wear, Greg suggested talking to his mom. She offered a beautiful blue and white long gown. I was so happy, I had a dress and looked amassing in it. This memory gives me a warm feeling of how she was so helpful, although we in the Village of Brooklands were always so helpful. It is sad she has passed and me returning to Winnipeg just wanted to say how sorry I am I did not know when she had passed. So I wanted my fond memory to be know, Mrs. Siedleski was a beautiful lady and was always well liked in our area of Brooklands.
