BEVERLY ANNE TURNER (nee SLOANE) July 11, 1939 - July 4, 2010 On July 4, 2010, Beverly Anne Turner left this world with her children at her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Bernadette Sloane, her husband Cliff in 2003, and her brother Lloyd. Left behind to cherish and enjoy memories of Beverly are her children Douglas (Dolly) of Gillam, MB, Christine (Clayton) of Okotos, AB, and Tricia (Jeff) of Grande Prairie, AB. Beverly had six grandchildren who she loved very much: Crystal, Kelli, Tyler, Stephen, Azelie, and Alexander, and three great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Blaize, and Phoenix. Beverly was born in Windsor, Ontario to Lloyd and Bernadette Sloane. She grew up in Winnipeg with her siblings: Lloyd, Eileen, Ken, Leslie and Bernice. Bev married Cliff on November 10, 1962. They raised their family in Gillam, MB. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She also was a substitute teacher at Gillam School. Bev and Cliff retired and settled in Carman, MB. Bev was a very compassionate and generous lady. After losing her husband she spent a great deal of her time helping others. Whether it was supporting a friend in need or bringing laughter to others, there were no limits on what she would do to make someone's day a little brighter. She loved and was loved. Donations will be graciously accepted for St. Judes Hospital for Children. TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE WHO LOVED ME When I am gone, release me, let me go. I have so many things to see and do, You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy that we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I travelled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust, It's only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I won't be far away, for life goes on, So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All of my love around you soft and clear. And then when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and say Welcome Home .
