Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN NEUFELD (nee SAWATZKY) We, the ones left behind, celebrate the life of Helen Neufeld (nee Sawatzky). She passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 16, 2010, her 61st wedding anniversary. Helen was born on November 11, 1928 to Peter F. and Margareta Sawatzky at Holmfield, Manitoba. She was loved dearly by her husband Abe, her eight children, their spouses, 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and her three siblings. There was never such a queen. The funeral service for Helen Neufeld will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2010 at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave., with viewing prior to the service. The interment will follow in the Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
