GISELE DESJARLAIS Gisele Desjarlais age 55 years of Winnipeg, MB and formerly from St. Laurent, MB passed away at her residence on July 14, 2010 from a long battle with Cancer. Throughout her life Gisele's main focus was her family. Left to cherish are her three children Crystal (Jeff), Curtis and Monique and the love of her heart her granddaughter Angel as well as her brothers and sister Claudette (Rob), Richard, Guy, Camille (Leslie), Dennis, Rolland, Conrad Desjarlais, numerous nieces and nephews as well as special friend Audrey (Clarence). Gisele is predeceased by her mother Agnes Desjarlais, father Alphonse Desjarlais, brother George Desjarlais, husband John Bickerton. Distance never separates hearts that really care For memories spans the miles in seconds we are there We hear the voice we see the smile Deep inside that was enough To comfort anyone in happiness and in sorrow We all love you dearly and can visit anytime No matter when or where for distance never separates hearts that really care We will always be with you. Everyone who surrounded Gisele and truly enjoyed knowing her knew they had a shoulder to lean on, a big hug and a winning smile. Gisele had an amazing sense of humour and could make anyone laugh even in times of sorrow. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Brookside Cemetery will follow after service.
