TENNIE SIMCOE (nee KENDYFORE) It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at Poseidon Care Centre on Sunday, July 18, 2010. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Valerie (Ron); son James (Bonnie); grandchildren, Andrea (Tom), Todd, Darin (Doris), Danny (Tracey), Holly; great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Jesse, Matthew, Meghan, Jennifer, and great-great-grandchild, Corey James. Mom was born on the family farm in Thalberg, MB in 1914. Mother was predeceased by her parents, Anne and Nicholas; sisters, Nellie, Mary, Pauline; brothers, Mike, Pete, Paul, Steve and John. The family would like to thank all the staff on the 5th floor at Poseidon Care Centre for their care and comfort of our Mother. Also thank you to all the HomeCare staff for all their kind, generous care. Special thank you to Dr. R. Ahluwalia for the compassion and care he has given to our precious flower throughout many years. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. with Fr. T. Kowch officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Cemetery. You can only have one Mother, loving, kind and true, No other friend in all the world, will be so true to you. For all her loving kindness, she asked nothing in return, If all the world deserted us, to our Mother we could turn. For those of us who have a Mother, treasure her with care, For you will never know her value, till you see that she's not there.
