BERTHA (BETTE) OZERO (nee RIEDIGER) April 8, 1920 - July 17, 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Bertha (Bette) Ozero on July 17, 2010, at Grace Hospital (Winnipeg), at the age of 90 years. Bette is survived by and shall be remembered in love forever by sons Robin and Brett (Lynn). Bette was predeceased by husband Joseph in 2005 and by six brothers: Louis, Charles, Hermann, Edward, William and Rudolph and by three sisters: Mary, Freda and Ella. Bette was, in the truest sense, the finest lady and most caring wife and mother that anyone could ask for. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Grace Hospital, 5 North for the excellent and compassionate care given to our mom. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service, presided by Sister Rose Desrochers, SNJM, will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street on Friday, July 23, 2010, with a reception to follow. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully accepted, but if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 (ph. 982-2041).
