AGNES (NANCY) WINSER (nee MCGREGOR) March 16, 1920 - July 10, 2010 Peacefully on July 10, 2010 at Health Sciences Centre, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away at the age of 90. Nancy will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her children, Joyce (Larry) Dare, Wayne (Heather), Marilyn (Terry) Armstrong, Dianne Boulay, Ed Boulay and Cindy Winser (Fritz Prager). She will be missed by her nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; sisters-in-law Rose Franklin and Ellen Harding. She was predeceased by husband Albert (2008), brothers John McGregor and Bob McAlpine, sisters Margaret Smith and Helen McGregor, granddaughter Debra Dare and infant granddaughter. Nancy loved her work as a swimming instructor, life guard and life guard instructor, at the North Winnipeg Y.M.C.A. where she was awarded Leader of the Year several times. Nancy loved going out to the family cabin at Lac Lu which was like a summer home since 1976. She watched her grandchildren grow and play at the lake and taught them how to swim and how to be safe around the water. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 14, at 2:00 p.m., at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg MB R3T 9Z9 or a charity of your choice.
