ANN MOORE (formerly Burrows) (nee McCormick) 1919 - 2010 Peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, our very special mom passed away July 22, 2010. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George Burrows, and her second beloved husband Albert Moore, as well as special friend Brian Stowe. She was also predeceased by her brother Robert McCormick, and her sister Ellen Fullerton. She is survived by her brother George McCormick. Our mom was an incredible person. Fortunately she lived a very full life until recently. Two weeks ago she was baking a pie and planning her next picnic on the way to Grand Forks. Ann was a friend to everyone. Well loved, respected and referred to by many others as one of the nicest people you could ever meet . She was generous to a fault. Baking, cooking, laughing and sharing. Her kitchen was always busy with pies, cookies, delicious family meals, and the occasional jello for her reliable shopper . We, her children, Barbara Borsch and husband Sylvestor, Marilyn MacKenzie and husband Jim Smith, and Michael Burrows and wife Lori, were so fortunate to have had her in our lives for so many years. She was a guide, an adviser, and the best fan for anything we were involved in. Ann's grandchildren Sandy, Bill, Roger, Kyle, Julie (husband Karl Archer), Reid (wife Alison MacKenzie) and Brenden and Jesse Burrows were all blessed with her constant unconditional love. Ann was especially proud to be a Great-Grandmother to Nathan, Josh, Tucker, Gracie and Piper Ann. A celebration of Ann's life will take place on Saturday, July 31, location and time to be confirmed in Tuesday's paper.
