ELSIE GAGNE (nee Wilson) Surrounded by family, after a 14-month courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Elsie Gagne passed away. Elsie was predeceased by her grandson Reeves in 2002. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Neil, their children: Gerry (Linda), Gill (Michelle), Darlene (J.C.) Couture, Donna (Mark) Dudek, grandchildren: Alex, Andrew, Cole, Eric, Chad, Craig, Skyla, and Asher, two great-grandchildren, her sister and best friend Wilma as well as Linda's daughters Meagan and Paige. She was employed for 35 years with Westfair Foods as a cashier and an active member of the St. Timothy's Parish. Elsie will be fondly remembered for her smile and welcoming spirit. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11: 00 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010, St. Timothy's Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road with Father Phil Daley celebrant. A private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to the Doctors, nurses, staff in particular friends Father Gerry Ward, and Louise on the 3rd floor, St. Boniface Hospital, for your loving care and support.
