Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I have only just learned with great sadness of the death of Duncan McWhirter. I worked with Duncan at a London wire agency, UNS, in the late 70s, and socialised regularly with Duncan and his charming wife Jody. I remember them both with great affection. Duncan was a great writer and terrific raconteur with a love of life and an enormous booming laugh that could turn heads. Prone to extremes of melancholy and exhilaration, he was an intelligent, entertaining companion, a good friend and one of journalism's great characters. RIP. - Posted by: Tony Coll (Former colleague) on: Dec 20, 2012
