Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVALBORG (MOLLA) THOMASSEN It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Valborg (Molla) Thomassen, in Victoria, BC on July 23, 2010. She was an incredible loving mother of seven children, Ole (Sally), Ann (Ken), Erik, Randi, Arne (Shirley), Roy (Karen), Lisa (Murray); nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Mom was born in Norway on March 18, 1927 and raised her family in Winnipeg. She was active in the Norwegian community, loved the Lake of the Woods and visiting her friends in Winnipeg. She loved life, her family and friends. She will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Victoria, on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation and the Canadian Diabetes Association.
