Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSE TIRSO ALCANTARA Peacefully with his family by his side, Jose passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 80 years, on July 24, 2010. Jose was predeceased by his first wife Leoncia Pinon and his second wife Crisanta Lapi. Left to cherish his memory is his partner Tess Andaya, children Dina (Doy), Nida, Ningning, Hercules (Marilou), Jun Boy, Adonis (Jane); grandchildren Tiffany, Hercodean, Bryan, Jem, Paulyn, Jacqueline, Russell, Jadee, Alyssa, Claire, Lea, Lori; great-grandchild Aiden; many extended family and friends. Jose came to Canada in 1978 with his three young boys to be reunited with the daughter that had come prior. Jose made his home in Winnipeg, where he eventually met his sweetheart Tess. Lamay will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Glen Eden Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to all the staff at Health Sciences Centre, GD3, the Dialysis Centre and Home Care Staff for the care and attention given to Jose. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
