BONNIE LYNNE BUCHANAN (nee WARNER) April 8, 1947 - July 24, 2010 Resident of Surrey, BC A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam... and for a brief moment it's glory and beauty belong to our world... but then it flies on again, and although we wish it could have stayed, we are so thankful to have seen it at all. Bonnie bravely and peacefully passed away at Surrey Memorial Hospital on July 24, 2010. Bonnie was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB where she attended Silver Heights Collegiate and Success Community College where she made many lifelong friends before she moved with her family to British Columbia in 1979. Predeceased by her parents Florence Mabel Warner and Frederick Donegal Warner, Bonnie was the youngest of three children and will forever be remembered by her brothers, Keith (Marian) and Ron (Dawn). She was both a beloved wife and mother. Bonnie is survived by Dan, her husband of 42 years, and her three children, Darci (Scott Forbes), Tara (Sean Brownridge), Tyler, and her three grandchildren Cole, Kyle and Jamie. Bonnie loved being with family and spending her summers at the cabin in Grand Beach, MB. She was known for her laughter and her ability to lend an ear to a friend in need. Bonnie touched the lives of so many people with her smile and her generous spirit and maintained her sense of humour up until the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Ave., Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that you make a donation if you wish, to the charity of your choice.
