He leaves behind his loving children: George, Roger, Leo, Shirley, Ron, Wayne and Lucille, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also survived by his sister Henriette and brothers Albert and Andrew. Predeceased by his wife Georgette on November 13, 2004. A service will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1088 Gillett Street, Prince George. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
