Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM GENAILLE It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of their beloved brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, William (Bill) Leonard Genaille (58 years) of Duck Bay, Manitoba on July 27, 2010. Bill leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter Cheryl (Dennis), his son Barry (Jenna), grandchildren, Shantelle, Tyler, Taylor, Dean, Morgan and Emma. His great-grandchildren, Andre and Johnathan. His sisters Yvonne, Lena (Howard), Amelia, Alice, and his brother Nelson. His Aunt Helen and his very special and dear friends, Robert and Hilda, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents Albert and Martha, his brothers Cornellius, Walter, Harvey, and Kenny, and his sister Elsie. Bill was born February 18, 1952 in Duck Bay, MB and spent most of early adult life in Winnipeg. He returned home to Duck Bay and spent his time commercial fishing and working for the Manitoba Metis Federation. Bill, better known to family and friends as Sassigun, enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and spent many early mornings and late evenings sitting and sometimes sleeping in his blind at the lakeshore. He enjoyed his early morning coffee breaks with his friends, catching up on the days events and gossip, sharing in laughter with them over the jokes they told and stories they shared. However, his greatest joy was his grandchildren. Bill enjoyed life never worrying about what happened in the past and looked forward to what the next day may bring. Bill will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will forever remain in their hearts and prayers.
