PETER WHITEHILL Peacefully, on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, Peter passed away at Calvary Place Personal Care Home at the age of 85 years. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his children, John (Bonnie), Dave (Jackie) and Kathy; grandchildren: Kellie (Matt), Shannon and Kirsten (Joel). He will also be missed by his special friend Lucille Good; his sisters, Margaret Charles and Agnes Jacques; sister-in-law Jan Fardy, along with several nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his wife Irene; his parents and in-laws; brothers, John and James; brothers-in-law, Bill Charles and Jack Jacques. Peter worked in the refrigeration trade, eventually venturing into his own business until retirement. Peter was the President of the Norwood Legion for many years where he made numerous friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 3, 2010, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family is grateful to the staff at Calvary Place for the excellent care and support given. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Peter to Calvary Place Personal Care Home, 1325 Erin Street, Winnipeg, MB R3E 3R6 or charity of one's choice.
