ROBERT B. OSESKY November 29, 1944 July 20, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son and brother on July 20, 2010. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Hedi; children, Elizabeth (Freddie), Claudia (Oscar), Irene (Jaume), Harold (Heike); grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him dearly. Also his mother Doris Osesky; brothers, Wayne (Clarice), Ron (Florence); his sister Marilyn (Norm) Hunter, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Robert was predeceased by his father George on July 13, 1988. Robert was born November 29, 1944 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and resided in Fort Rouge. At an early age of 17, he joined the Canadian Army and after three years he joined the American Army. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1987 and resided in Bamberg, Germany. In 1972 he met and married Hedi in Bamberg, Germany and they were married for 38 years. Robert was a very private person but family meant everything to him. He was a good friend to all who knew him and he will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 1175 Main Street. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brian Skakun, Ken Honstein, Richard Drewniak, Michael Fustey, Rudy Wishnicki and John Blanc. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
