OLGA KUCHAR (nee GAGAWCHUK) Sadly, on August 3, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre Olga Kuchar died after a long battle with cancer. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Nellie (Bob) Bigar, son Wally Kuchar and daughter Donna (Carey) Kosheluk. Also left to mourn is her sister Jean (Bill) Perchuk, brothers Mike (Marie) Gagawchuk, and Peter (Hidi) Gagawchuk. Two daughters-in-law, Gerry Kuchar and Audrey Kuchar, also survive her. Olga was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, John Kuchar and her sons Andy Kuchar and Bill Kuchar, as well as her siblings Bobbie, Johnny, Minnie, and Bill. She will always be Baba to her many grandchildren: Ricky, Angela, Chris, Ryan, Barbie, Michelle, Hannah, Daniel, Kyle, Cassandra, Jessica, and Troy, as well as her many great-grandchildren. Olga was always a hard worker. She was straightforward and spoke her mind. She had an eye for detail and was meticulous with all she did. Baba was loved by all and appreciated by the little tikes she reared in her life. Her home was always open to all and nobody ever went hungry when they came over to visit. Olga always had a green thumb, she loved her Kinsmen Bingo, a good book, and to watch her soap operas. She also enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes. Her love for cooking made us all happy. Baba took great joy in taking pictures; it was a sad day when Polaroid Instamatic discontinued their line. The family will always remember her as a warm, loving, giving, heartfelt Lady!
