KIRSTEN PAULETTE AUDREY MILLER It is with deep sadness and immeasurable sorrow we announce the death of our Kirsten Miller on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg at the young, tender age of four years. Beloved daughter of Sandy and Sherees Miller of Winnipeg, formerly of Eriksdale, MB. Kirsten was a treasured granddaughter to Barry and Paulette Carpenter and Audrey Miller; great-granddaughter to Gramma Lawrence, Gramma Carpenter, Gramma Miller and Grandpa Marriott; a delightful niece to Dwayne Miller, Robbie Miller, Curtis Miller, Donald Miller and Barry Jr. Carpenter and their families; along with a very large extended family. She was a happy and vibrant little girl. Everyone she met was moved by her joyous and exuberant spirit. She loved coming to the country to be with her family and especially her cousins. We will always love you. You will be missed and cherished. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre with Melanie Kauppila officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Cuthbert's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her uncles Dwayne Miller, Barry Jr. Carpenter, Robbie Miller, Donald Miller and Curtis Miller. There are few people in this world who are truly called to work with children and families in moments and crisis. To say thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre P.I.C.U. and Ward CH5 is simply inadequate. Your compassion, devotion, love and care was a blessing and a light in the midst of our pain and uncertainty. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, CE 501, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 566 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 0G7. It was with great sadness that my wife and I read about your sorrow. I am sure you have gone through many emotions in the last few years. When your story reaches out to people it says two things. Hug your children even when you are busy or they have made you angry and remember life is a gift. We wish you well in your healing and we have strong faith and believe there are special places in Heaven for Kirsten. She will always be in your hearts but someday she will be with you again. - Posted by: Vic Hiebert (None) on: Aug 03, 2014

My dearest little niece, your Aunty Chantelle loves you very much! I promise to take good care of your puppy Missy for you. Your Great-Grandpa Leo, Uncle Robby, great cousin Brandy, cousins Colby and Liam are with you now. You will all have fun playing amongst the clouds together. I will always remember the times we watched cartoons and played with your stuffies. Grandma and Papa Carpenter will look after your flowers for you. Keep Papa’s saying with you always as it speaks for all of us, “Papa will always love you, forever and ever no matter what!” - Posted by: Chantelle Tokarz (Family) on: Aug 06, 2010
