WILLIAM ALFRED MILNER Peacefully, after a very long and courageous battle with cancer, Bill passed away August 3, 2010 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, with his family at his side. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Annie, Aunt Eileen and her family, Larry and Beth, Pat, Brenda and Grant, Judy and Jim, Tammy and Glenn, and their families, as well as numerous other relatives. Bill was predeceased by his father Bob and brother Eric (Butch). He will be missed by special friends, Dave and Mary, Henry and Esther, Willy and Helen Penner and families, Bruce and Sheila Wallcraft, John and Donna Morrow, Ian Dobson, Garry and Merle Young and his many friends in the cattle industry. Bill was born June 19, 1936 in Manitou and spent his entire life farming and buying cattle. He was a dedicated supporter of the 4-H calf sale at the Manitou fair. 2010 was Bill's 45th consecutive year buying 4-H calves. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Woelk, Cheryl Penner and all the dedicated staff in Boundary Trails CancerCare for their unwavering support over the past eight years. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2:00 p.m. in St. Andrews United Church, Manitou. Interment to follow at Manitou Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
