ALBERT (AL) VICTOR KOHUSKA, P. ENG. Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre. Al is survived by his loving wife Helen, daughter Christine (Shaun), grandchildren Hannah and Owen; daughter Cynthia (Bart), grandchildren Morgan and Leia, and daughter Darcia (Mike), his mother Natalia and sister Helen as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Al graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1961 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He began his career in Saskatoon with the P.F.R.A. followed by a lengthy career with the Government of Manitoba. After retirement, he enjoyed many years at the cottage with Helen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Al's memory to the Alzheimer's Society, Manitoba Division or the Special Needs Unit, AB1, Riverview Health Centre. The family would like to thank the staff of the Special Needs Unit for their exceptional care and kindness. Thank you to his many wonderful friends that stayed by his side.
