LORRAINE M. RINTOUL (nee FOX) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine at the age of 75 years. She was predeceased by the love of her life Bruce. Lorraine will be missed by her loving family, daughter Debbie (Robert), sons Bryan and Dale (Donna), grandchildren Tyler, Dustin, Pamela, Hillary and Dylan. Lorraine was raised in the MacGregor area. She married Bruce on October 1, 1957 and shortly after moved to Winnipeg. She was warmly welcomed into the large Rintoul family which she treasured over the years. Lorraine enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom. Her passion for people led to volunteering and work at the Grace Hospital. She traveled to many parts of the world and could always be found working on her knitting and crochet projects. Lorraine loved to dance. She and Bruce started Pattern Dancing which continued for many enjoyable years. They were fortunate to meet many cherished friends who became a part of their family. Thanks to CancerCare, Palliative care and staff at Sturgeon Creek II for the care and compassion shown to Lorraine. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Chapel Lawn 885-9715

To Debbie, Bryan, and Dale: Your mother was a lovely, lovely person, always caring and understanding. We became friends only a couple of years ago. She often talked about you, her children, and her grandchildren. She loved you all very much. I hold her memory in my heart. - Posted by: Dawn Cotton (Friend) on: Aug 22, 2010
