ROSE MCMASTER After a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, August 9, 2010, at the age of 87 years, beloved wife of Royal McMaster, at the Grace Hospice House in Winnipeg. Rose will be sadly missed by her brothers and sister, and all her nieces and nephews along with many friends throughout Manitoba. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Ann and John Coma of Winnipegosis, MB, her husband, Royal McMaster of Winnipeg; sister, Mary (Sandy) Gellatly of Winnipeg; brothers, Harry Coma of Winnipeg and Fred Coma of Winnipegosis. She is survived by her sister Patricia (Bill) Pick of Penticton, BC; brothers Nick Coma of Winnipegosis and Walter Coma of Cowan, MB. Rose was born in Winnipegosis, MB where she became a very talented hairdresser and business woman. Rose and Royal lived in Swan River for a number of years where she owned Silhouette Beauty Salon and had many faithful clientele. In 1971 Rose and Royal moved to Winnipeg where Rose became involved in real estate owning and managing several apartment buildings. Rose was a cherished friend to all that knew her. Fiercely independent, Rose lived in her own home until her illness took hold. To all that were her friends throughout her life thank you. A special thank you to Pat, Bill, Alan, Lee-Anne, Flo, Edna and Rose's other friends for helping Rose through her time at Grace Hospice. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with reception to follow.
