MARY MURIEL WADDELL (nee HUNTER) Peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2010, Muriel Waddell passed away with family by her side, in the Lions Prairie Manor at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband Victor Waddell in 2003. Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Betty Ann, son Terry (Ellen), daughter Kathy, son Bruce, daughter Mary-Lee (Brian) Chartrand and son Rickey along with seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Myrtle Hunter; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing and visitation will take place at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Rd S., Portage la Prairie, on Thursday evening, August 12, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday morning, August 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Portage Sport and Cultural Association (Bingo Hall south of the Cinema - 234 Princess Ave., Portage la Prairie). Interment is to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Muriel's memory to Lions Prairie Manor Foundation Inc., 24 - 9th Street SE, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 3V4 or to a charity of your choice.
