ANN GYLYWOYCHUK (nee PELACHOK) December 5, 1917 August 8, 2010 It is with deep sorrow that our family announces the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother at the Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 92 years. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Nestor (Joan), Peter, Ernie (Donna) and daughter-in-law Terry and her nine grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, husband John, son Ron, twin sons, and daughter-in-law Trudy; her brothers Peter, Johnny, Harry and sister Stella. Ann was born in Winnipeg in 1917. She was raised in the Tolstoi area. She married John Gylywoychuk in 1934. They lived in Tolstoi, later moving to Winnipeg. Mom was a wonderful baker at home and at work. She enjoyed dancing at various occasions. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy and she enjoyed their visits. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
