HONER IRENE FLORENCE August 11, 2009 JOHN October 7, 2001 The Angels gathered near your bed so very close to you They knew how much you missed your Johnny And that he was waiting up above for you. We thought about so many things as we held tightly to your hand Oh, how we wished you could stay but it was not what God had planned Your eyes were looking homeward to that place beyond the sky Where Jesus held His outstretched arms, it was time to say goodbye. We struggled with our selfish thoughts for we wanted you to stay So we could walk and talk again like we did - just yesterday. But Jesus knew the answer and we knew He loved you so So we gave to you life's greatest gift, the gift of letting go. Till we meet again So sadly missed and lovingly remembered by your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
