SYDNEY PERLMUTTER July 26, 1932 - August 9, 2010 It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Dad and Zaida, Sydney Perlmutter, on August 9, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre. Left to cherish and respect his memory are his loving companion Ginny Hansen, his children Ross, Rhonda, Moira (Simon) and Joy (Todd) - son and daughters of Anne Perlmutter - and his grandchildren Samaya and Reese. He was predeceased by his father Morris, his mother Fanny, and his sister Frances. Born in Winnipeg in 1932, Sydney was a gifted student and athlete at St. John's Tech prior to embarking on a long, respected career as a lawyer in rural Manitoba. Sydney was a musician, an animal lover and was known for his sense of humour and quick wit. A private ceremony for his immediate family will be followed by a memorial reception for family and friends, details to be provided by the family. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Riverview for their care and compassion.
