PHILIPP BIEBER It is with great sorrow that we, his family, announce the passing of Philipp Bieber who passed away peacefully with his family beside him on Thursday July 22, 2010 at the age of 86. He will be lovingly remembered by son, Robert Bieber; daughter, Irene (Lother) Talman; grandchildren, Jocelyn (Richard) Bieber, Michael Talman, Christine (Peter) Couch, along with great-grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Noah Couch He immigrated from Germany to Canada in 1954 but reminisced often of the times with family and friends he spent it with as a young man living on his family Vineyards in Wilhelmsfeld, Ukraine. He enjoyed life in Canada and was proud to find a job with Labatt Breweries as a brewer where he worked for 32 years. He loved spending many of his summers with his family in the beautiful log cabin he built at Jessica Lake. Even in retirement he loved keeping busy and could usually be found at the cabin during the summers working in his garden, fishing, enjoying wildlife, and spending quality time with his friends and family. He will be missed by many for his strong and loving nature and his quick, easy smile. A memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens located at 4477 Main Street, in Winnipeg, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. followed by a reception.
