Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET HARDER With family by her side, Margaret went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 9, 2010. She was born July 18, 1926 near Winkler, Manitoba to Henry P. and Helena Harder. She committed her life to Jesus Christ at a young age, was baptized, and was actively involved in the church all her life, most recently in the Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church. She was a teacher in Burwalde, Rhineland, Winkler and Winnipeg. Her work with special needs students at Ellen Douglas, Grant Park and Lord Roberts schools gave her much joy. She loved to garden, knit, spend time with family and friends, and watch sports. She will be fondly remembered for her loving spirit, her gentleness and generosity. Margaret was predeceased by two brothers, one sister, three brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law. She is survived by three sisters, Tina Doerksen, Susie (Henry) Loewen, and Gertrude Klassen, nieces, nephews and their families, and many friends. The family gratefully acknowledges the loving care and kindness of the staff at Concordia Hospital and Donwood Manor Personal Care Home. Viewing will be on Saturday, August 14, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Donwood Manor, 171 Donwood Drive and on Monday prior to the funeral. Funeral will be on Monday, August 16, 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, 145 Henderson Hwy. If friends desire, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to Family Life Centre, 225 Riverton Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2L 0N1, available at the service.
