EDGAR FRANK WEAVER February 8, 1921 - August 9, 2010 Peacefully, on August 9, 2010 at Poseidon Care Centre Edgar left us. He is survived by his son Larry. He was predeceased by his loving wife Katherine K., mother Genevieve, father Edgar and brother Arthur. Edgar was born in Winnipeg; he was a decorated Second World War veteran and served from 1941 to 1946. After the war he worked at the Winnipeg Post Office for over 30 years as a letter carrier until his retirement. He will be lovingly remembered by Katherine's family, brother-in-law Edward and sister-in-law Esther. As well as by his sister Lillian, brothers Wilfred, Russell (Valerie), James, Walter (Denise), Gordon, Dennis (Elizabeth), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the caregivers these past few months at Rosewood and Poseidon Care Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital, 840 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3A 1S1. Viewing and prayers were held at a private family service.
