V. BERNICE GUSTAFSON Passed away quietly Monday, August 9, 2010 at Concordia Place Nursing Home at the age of 79. Bernice was born October 13, 1930 in Reaburn, Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Lloyd in 1996. She leaves to mourn her brother Lloyd Gladue; daughter Maureen (David) and her daughters Pamela (John) and Samantha; daughter Lynn and her sons Tim (Vicky) and Ian (Veronica); son Kevin, (Beverly) and their three children Jenny (Mika), Bonnie (Mike) and Riley, plus 11 great-grandchildren. She spent her happiest years with her husband at their cabin in the country, tending garden and her beautiful flower beds, going to the Meadow Lea hall to dance the night away or simply enjoying life together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to all. She always had a smile, a hug and a cookie for anyone who came to sit at her kitchen table. She will be greatly missed. A celebration of Bernice's life will be held Monday, August 16 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre at 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery) at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation at 1-800-387-1479 ext. 237 or online at ccfc@ccfc.ca.
