ANNE WARREN August 30, 1909 - August 7, 2010 Anne passed away peacefully August 7, 2010 at Lion's Personal Care Home in her 100th year. She is survived by her daughter Marlene, grandchildren Christine and Paul, and special daughter Lynette. She was predeceased by her husband Jack in February 2003. Grandma was a loyal Eaton's employee, working for many years in the Grill Room. It was a sad day for her when Eaton's closed. Grandma was a wonderful cook and we will always remember the Sunday dinners where everyone was welcome. Throughout her life she worked hard but also enjoyed social times with her friends, sewing, knitting and crocheting. In later years she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending dances at the Senior Centre and mall walking at Polo Park with her neighbour Mrs. Wright. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Lion's Personal Care Home who took such excellent care of her these last years. Grandma was a very special person and we will all miss her so very much. Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service. Goodbye my family My life has past I loved you all to the very last Weep not for me, but courage take Love each other for my sake For those you love don't go away They walk beside you everyday.
