CATHERINE MADELINE KNIGHT (nee MULVIHILL) Catherine passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 14, 2010. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bill; her parents, Catherine and Thomas; sisters, Mildred and Beatrice; brothers, Kenneth (Mildred) and Sanford (Yvonne). She is survived by her goddaughter Judy (Phil) Gorman, many nieces and nephews and relatives in England. Catherine's working days were spent at Eaton's, the Provincial Government and the Municipality of Charleswood. She gave generously of her time to her church, Our Lady of Perpetual Help and to her community where she lived for 59 years. She was blessed to have many good friends who made her life a happy one, the Bridge ladies, SWAPS and the CWL just to name a few. Special thanks to the staff and home care aids at the Wellington for providing her with a wonderful safe environment during her last few years and to the staff of 4 south at the Victoria Hospital for their care during her final days. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4588 Roblin Blvd. A decade of the rosary will be said prior to mass at 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
