DORIS PETERSON Peacefully, with family by her side, on August 9, 2010 at the Victoria Hospital, Doris passed away at the age of 93. Doris is survived by her daughters, Blanche Younker, Jean Ballingall, Wendy Buckels, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Morris Andrew Peterson in 1986 and her daughter Irene Carriere in 1975. Doris was a lifetime member of the Hong Kong Veterans Commerative Association, as well as a member at both the St. Vital and Fort Rouge Legion. A private family service will be held. Donations in Doris' memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, MB Division, and 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
