Raymond was born in Winnipeg to Albert and Louise Tanguay. He was employed by Kleysen Transport from July 1984 to April 2007, at which time he retired. He took great pride in his work and had many stories to share about his time spent there. Raymond took great enjoyment in sharing meals and visiting with family and friends in Winnipeg, Swan River and Calgary. He also enjoyed watching sports, reading the newspaper and helping others whenever he could. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and the joy he would get out of playing tricks on people, especially children and pets. Raymond is survived by five sisters, Bernadette, Yvonne, Noella, Georgette, Rose and two brothers Fernand and John, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. The Tanguay Family would also like to acknowledge and thank his very special friends, Norm and Doreen Hildebrandt and Tony and Stella Louizos and their families for inviting Raymond to be a part of their family celebrations, especially over the holiday season. Their caring gestures and acts of kindness were greatly appreciated. Raymond was predeceased by his parents Albert and Louise, his sister Margaret and brothers Edmond and George. A private family graveside burial will take place at the Assumption Cemetery on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 BROADWAY, WINNIPEG, MB R3C OX4 783-7211 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsonfuneralchapel.com
