RAYMOND JOSEPH LEOPOLD SABOT Peacefully with his family at his side, Raymond passed away at 53 years of age, on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Pinawa Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Ray's memory are his loving wife, Lynn (nee Lemire); only son, Chase and wife Jaimie (nee Bencharski); sisters and brothers-in-law, Florette and John (Walker), Mona and Emile (Lessard), Diane, and Monique and Brian (Cyr); nine nieces; two nephews; his father and mother-in-law, Patrice and Yvette Lemire; brother-in-law, Luc Lemire; many aunts; uncles; cousins; friends; his life time friends, Paul Roberts, Larry Dube, Allan Vincent, and Ernie Friesen, and his hunting buddy, Norman Dube. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Evelyn Sabot as well as his brother-in-law, Donny. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his loved ones, friends, and his four legged buddy, Rueben. In accordance with Ray's wishes there will be no formal funeral service. A private family service will be held. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Chuck (Jim) and Joanne Niedermayer who took the long journey and gave great support to Ray and Lynn; a special mention to Aimee and Miss Abbygail Dufour for making Ray's heart smile; as well the family would also like to thank Dr. R. F. Van Gend and the staff at the Pinawa Hospital for their compassion and care, and his special home care nurses, Cheryl, Patti-Jo, and Jeanette. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's memory may be made to the Pinawa CancerCare, P.O. Box 220, Pinawa, Manitoba R0E 1L0.
