She was predeceased by her beloved parents William and Rose Davis, and one sister Wilhelmina Davis. Margaret's working days were spent at Eaton's where she made many good friends such as Rhoda whom she kept in touch with. She spent many happy times with her bridge buddies. She enjoyed life to the fullest, bowling where she won a trip for two to Hawaii which she and her sister Lillian enjoyed. She loved to golf and curl. She looked forward to family gatherings and she was always there for her family. She gave generously of her time to St. Ann's Church and became very good friends with Sister Alice who visited her often. She leaves to mourn her untimely passing sisters Lillian and Theresa, nieces Marilyn (Dick) Strutz, Joyce (Mickey) James and families; nephew Len (Karen) Williams and family; five great-nieces and two nephews Bob (Lisa), Wendy (Ryan), Cheryl (James), Rob (Jasmine), Darryl, Jennifer (Clayton) and Corey; eight great-great-nieces and nephews who were the apple of her eye Emily, Evan, Erika, Elizabeth, Brett, Kyle, Mia and Bryce. She also leaves behind many cousins here and in California whom she visited often. Special thanks to the staff of the Rosewood Maple House providing her with care and friendship, and the staff of the Victoria Hospital Emergency and 4th floor for their care during her final days. Prayers will be said on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
