NELLIE SLIVINSKI May 13, 1916 - August 14, 2010 Nellie passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre, Saskatoon, SK on August 14, 2010. Nellie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marie and son-in-law Al Toews. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Annie and Tillie Yanisiw and numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Joe (1994), parents Alexander and Maria Yanisiw, Nellie Yanisiw (stepmother), brothers John, Bill (Agnes) and Stanley, sisters Kay (Mike) Pawlychyn, Anna (Stanley) Chomica, nephews David Peiluck and Alex Pawlychyn. Nellie was born and raised on a farm in Chatfield, MB then moved to Winnipeg where she lived for over 70 years. She relocated to Saskatoon in 2003 to be near her only daughter and son-in-law. We extend a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre and Caleb Manor for their loving care, patience and kindness. In keeping with Mom's wishes there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations may be made to Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre, 2200 St. Henry Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7M 0P5 or a charity of your choice.
